Public Health
Access to good health and social equality are cornerstones of a sustainable community. We strive to achieve this through strategic interventions that include promotion and implementation of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programmes; enabling access to new technology and information for rural households; and organizing health advocacy campaigns. Through unique partnerships, we build the capacity of community-level healthcare workers to better serve adolescent population in affected communities. Our intervention to promote access to clean water has reduced the incidence of water-borne diseases by over 15% across several earthquake-affected areas in Nepal.
