ASSIST representatives, Sreeni Narayanan and Vanessa Hans, attended the Impact Forum organized by IIX and Shujog in Singapore on June 13-14, 2013.
The forum gathered investors, social enterprise owners, non-government organizations, government officials and people from the private sector. The 2-day event enabled the attendees to discuss about investing in inclusion and to spread the word of Impact Investing across Asia. Nobel Laureate, Professor Muhammad Yunus, graced the event as the keynote speaker together with other renowned speakers. The event concluded with the official launch of the Social Exchange, the first social stock exchange in the world.
