ASSIST, represented by Vy Truong, opens SAVE project office in Phnom Penh on June 2013.
Sustainable Action and Vision for a better Environment (SAVE) is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project co-financed by DEG and PUMA. It aims to create more environmentally friendly footwear apparel and accessory supply chain production sites in developing countries of Asia.
During the project the primary purpose of the SAVE office will be to act as support hubs for the beneficiaries in the 4 countries. After the project completion, the offices shall become independent knowledge hubs that will be self-sustaining both financially and operationally. Whilst they will receive support during the project duration, the cumulative expertise, experiences and assets that they gain will continue to be utilized beyond the project.
