Despite the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down significant events and activities around the globe, ASSIST Vietnam’s own Baking Training to Augment Knowledge and Entrepreneurial Development (BAKE) project, in partnership with DEG is geared to produce lasting opportunities for aspiring bakers in support of improving the country’s baking trade.
Last December 31, about 100 students completed the basic course, in which 87% of the total target number was reached. For the advanced course, 38 students were able to graduate reaching 44% of the total target number. Thanks to these milestones, the BAKE project managed to secure a feature in HTV, one of the biggest TV networks in Vietnam.
