ASSIST representatives, Sreeni Narayanan, Olga Babina ,Nizelle Sy and Kim Garcia attended the European Union-Philippines 2nd Meeting on Energy, “Energy Efficiency to Boost Economic Growth”, in New World Makati Hotel on 29 May 2013.
Meeting served as the platform for exchanges of views on energy efficiency and energy conservation between Philippine policy makers and EU representatives. A joint press conference was held during the event.
Speakers presented the state of play in the field of energy efficiency in the EU and the Philippines. They shared also selected case studies demonstrating the economic potential of energy conservation measures. A joint press conference was held during the event that highlighted the sharing of experiences on promoting energy efficiency and conservation from EU Member States’ Ambassadors. European and Philippine companies in the energy sector also graced the event, including recent recipients of the prestigious Don Emilio Abello Energy Efficiency Award.
