ASSIST and AsianNGO attended Rappler’s “#HungerProject: The End of Hunger” held at the Asian Institute of Management in Manila, Philippines, last March 3.
Rappler CEO and Executive Editor Maria Ressa, together with DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman, Camarines Sur 3rd District Representative Leni Robredo, and WFP Country Director Praveen Agrawal, discussed the most pressing hunger and malnutrition related issues, as well as tackled what has been done and what else needs to be done to solve those. The event officially launched #HungerProject, an online platform to raise awareness, spark intelligent conversation and inspire action against the continuing problems of hunger and other related issues in the Philippines.
