ASSIST organizes events for project SAVE

The launch of SAVE for the new project partner, H&M, was held on August 27, 2013, meanwhile, an Energy Management Training was held on September 4-6, 2013 both in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

 

Sustainable Action and Vision for a better Environment (SAVE) is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project co- financed by DEG and PUMA which aims to create more environmentally friendly footwear apparel and accessory supply chain production sites in developing countries of Asia.

 

The launch was attended by 12 participants from the participating factories of H&M in Cambodia. The event was held to introduce the project and different participation options to the representatives of H&M suppliers and to seek for their support in committing to the project goals.

 

The Energy Management Training was led by Kama Neson Ganeson, ASSIST’s Director – Impact & Delivery Excellence. He enlightened the participants on the strategies to save energy and the negative impacts of too much energy consumption.
