Job Background

The Communications & Visibility Design and Content Coordinator will effectively conduct the management of the creative team to ensure the quality and timeliness of each deliverable, as well as its coherence and alignment with ASSIST’s own mission, vision, and values. It involves interacting with both internal and external stakeholders, and eventually requires having a strong familiarity with our structure, services, processes, and  people. This position will report to the Communication and Visibility Head.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the management of the design, development, and production of creative assets
    • Understand and implement the internal creative brief process
    • Review design and content for quality assessment before finalization and distribution
    • Scheduling, delegating and coordinating internal and external resources as required
    • Reporting on the status of development of various creative assets
    • Input and update databases
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including clients as needed
  • Developing content including writing, editing, designing, documenting, etc. as needed
  • Plan, prepare, and implement external documentation requirements (onsite video production, beneficiary interviews, and story documentation)
    • Own key content documents such as briefs or content decks
    • Oversee the accuracy and details, including the layout and visual components, and develop

      materials for a specific audience or demographic.

  • Monitoring and evaluating activities and achievement of set targets based on deadlines
    • Maintain cross-functional content calendars and trackers
    • Reporting and data analysis to inform content decision-making
  • Providing support to the C&V team and general administrative activities
  • Research and curate industry-specific trends / cultural events / competitive initiatives relevant to the

    audience

Secondary and Cross-Cutting Responsibilities

  • Work with other teams and stakeholders to provide tools, resources, and other materials that support all

    C&V efforts

  • Research and adopt for internal use the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in communications

    and visibility

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of work experience in a non-profit organization or an organization with a similar setup is preferred, but outstanding fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Social Sciences, Mass Communications, Organizational Communication,

    Management, Multimedia Arts, or any other relevant field

  • Sufficient experience managing projects on the field, at project sites, and in the office with suppliers both in-house and external
  • Preferably with experience in managing creative projects and working with creative professionals
  • Preferably with proficiency in Adobe programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and related software
  • Experience in generating creative concepts and ideas for a given context
  • Strong writing and communication skills in English
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment and applies critical thinking to regular operations
  • Open-minded and enthusiastic to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Able to work and coordinate with the C&V team remotely
