Project ECO was launched at the Bund Hotel in Shanghai on September 9, 2013. Project PROTECT’s Closing Ceremony was held at the Hotel Crown Plaza in Guangzhou on September 11, 2013.
Project Environment Friendly Concepts for a more Organized and Sustainable Warehouse Facility in China (ECO) was attended by representatives from various warehouses in Shanghai. The event was held to help local warehouses to implement environment friendly practices and help them achieve eco-friendly status.
Proper Handling and Testing of Chemical and Toxic Substances (PROTECT) is a public private partnership with a developmental agenda of building capacity among the local Chinese manufacturers and helping them adopt EU directives on RoHS and WEEE etc. to improve and sustain their environmental performance in the long run.
