ASSIST together with DEKRA and DEG closed SHIELD project through the Best Practice Forum in Johannesburg, South Africa on September 13, 2013.
Sustainable Environment, Health & Safety Interventions for Local Construction & Mining Industry (SHIELD) is Public-Private Partnership project which helps to address the need for enhancing the local capacity in South Africa through well-structured education and training programs.
The Best Practice Forum served as a closing ceremony of the project and an introduction to the developed e-learning toolkit and Virtual Training Academy, which will support sustainable self-development, employee training and more. The Forum was attended by 28 participants from both public and private sectors.
