ASSIST and Bayer MaterialScience sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the project Sustain in Bayer office in Chennai, India on July 24-25, 2013.
SUSTAIN is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project co-financed by DEG and implemented by Bayer MaterialScience and ASSIST to create opportunities of sustainable livelihood for farmers in India. The project will realize the installation of the twin technology of Solar Dryer and Cold Storage Unit in the selected farm lands in the Southern region.
The MoU signing was attended by the project team from ASSIST and Bayer MaterialScience and the beneficiaries. The project SUSTAIN has advanced into the second phase where the capacity building exercises will be executed for the farming communities.
