On November 22, a minor workshop on the implementation of resource efficiency measures was conducted in the AIMA Hall in Ambattur, Chennai. This event aimed to present the various measures implemented and the savings realized by the project participants from other regions to hasten the implementation in other participating units from the southern region.
The speakers in the event include Mr. M.R. Srinivas, Senior Technical Expert of ASSIST and Mr. Markus Moeller, Sr. International Expert of Austria Recycling (AREC).
This event is conducted as one of the activities of the project ACIDLOOP, which primarily aims to promote resource efficiency in the metal finishing companies leading to enhanced environmental quality and combat pollution. This project is funded by the EU – SWITCH Asia Program and is implemented in partnership with The Energy and Research Resources Institute, AREC, VDEh-Betriebsforschungsinstitut (BFI) GmbH, Adelphi, STENUM Asia, and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers
