ANALYSE – Affordability and Accessibility to Laboratories for SMEs through Youth Skills Development and Employment is a develoPPP project between Metrohm and KfW DEG and implemented by ASSIST, launched on 24 September 2019. During the project launch, Mr. Deepak Parab, MD, Metrohm, discussed the challenges and opportunities of product testing.
Harmonizing food regulations to align with international standards is rapidly becoming an issue due to the lack of proper testing facilities to gauge product quality, especially within the pharmaceutical industry. The ANALYSE project enhances affordability and accessibility to high-precision laboratory testing facilities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the paramedical and food and beverage sectors. As part of this initiative, a Common Facility Centre will also be established through which MSMEs will have access to advanced analytical testing instruments and be supported by workshops and training, allowing them to become science graduates, teachers, and technicians.
