ASSIST representatives Sreeni Narayanan and Vanessa Hans attended the Water CoP Catchment Series of ADB in Manila on April 25, 2013.
The event was well participated by ADB members and NGO representatives. Hubert Jenny, Principal Urban Development Specialist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), discussed about ADB and Water Communities of Practice (CoP) in Vietnam as well as its partnerships with other Non-Government Organizations (NGO) and Civil Society Organizations (CSO). He also introduced the concept of Pilot and Demonstration Activity (PDA) and its activity in Vietnam which focused on waste water management. He also expressed his interest in developing a PDA on water waste treatment in Vietnam in partnership with ASSIST.
