ASSIST holds Stakeholders’ Forum for project PRO-FIT

A Stakeholders’ Forum for the project PRO-FIT was held in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines on October 4, 2013.

 

Promoting Food Industry Competitiveness Training Program (PRO-FIT) is a Public-Private Partnership project co-financed by sequa and BMZ and implemented by TUV Rheinland, ASSIST, AFOS and UP ISSI that will run for 2 years. PRO-FIT targets three levels of beneficiaries- individuals, industries and institutions. It aims to give food and beverage SMEs better chances of entering domestic and foreign markets and contribute to a growing economy in the Philippines.

 

The forum’s purpose is to review the course curricula of Certified Quality Associate (CQA), Certified Food Safety Professional (CFSP),CertificationProgramme on Good Manufacturing Practices (CPGMP), Basic Food Safety & Hygiene Practices (BFSHP),and Diploma in Food Safety Management (DFSM).
