SWitch to Sustainable Development through Energy Efficiency Practices (SWEEP) Closing Ceremony was held last April 30 at the Hotel Green Park in Chennai, India.
This project, implemented by TUV India Pvt Ltd and ASSIST, aimed to work towards the low carbon economy capacity building and implementation of energy management systems to primarily address the problems of India’s manufacturing sector, which is said to be the nation’s largest source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
After almost a year of implementation, the project culminated with representatives of the implementing partners present during the event, along with certified companies such as India Cements Limited, HI Tech ARAI and SKI Carbon Black (India) Ltd., who presented the benefits, savings and experiences they have gained from the entire project.
