ASSIST’s Marian Thomassen attended the 12th Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development (DIHAD) Conference held last March 24-26 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibit Centre.
DIHAD is a three-day event that aims to contribute to the further enhancement of technically sound and principled international humanitarian and development assistance. The conference served as a platform for the delegates, mostly working in the development and humanitarian sector, to interact & foster partnership, seek donors, gain information on the latest trends, and know success stories of other humanitarian organizations, learn about new and effective products and services launched in the market beneficial to their daily operations.
The event also held a humanitarian-focused exhibition with booths from aid agencies, government organizations, private sector companies and NGOs, which ASSIST and AsianNGO, were part of.
