Asia Green Conference in Malaysia

ASSIST and AsianNGO took part in the Asia Green Conference at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Center in Malaysia on 3-4 December 2013.

 

The theme of the conference is focused on “Developing a Green Sustainable Future for Asian Businesses”. Participants from different organizations were trained and educated on how to upgrade their sustainability and energy efficiency skills and knowledge.

 

The Asia Green Conference will teach businesses how to improve their workforce, train staff to follow environmental best practice, reduce risks and implement successful Green Skills and Energy Efficiency Strategy.

 

The keynote speakers include Mr. Craig Hurley, Manager of the National Centre of Sustainability, University of Ballarat, Tuan Ir Ahmad Hadri Haris, CEO of the Malaysian Green Technology Corporation, Dr. Wan Abdul Rahaman, Advisor of the Biotechnology Initiatives Manufacturing, Northern Corridor Implementation Authority, Mr. M. Madani Sahari, CEO of the Malaysian Automotive Institute, and Emeritus Professor Dr. Muhamad Bin Awang, Vice Chancellor of SEGi University.
