The Need

Good nutrition is one of the most powerful tools a young athlete has — yet for many youth and their families, reliable guidance on healthy eating and lifestyle practices remains hard to come by. In corporate environments, the story isn’t so different: employees are eager to learn, but opportunities for meaningful health and sustainability education are few and far between. Without accessible and engaging nutrition education across both communities, the knowledge gap continues to widen — quietly shaping habits, health outcomes, and quality of life.

The Intervention

NutriKaalaman integrates community-based nutrition education, corporate wellness programming, and multi-stakeholder engagement. It brings interactive nutrition sessions to young athletes and their parents at the Alyssa Valdez Youth Volleyball Camp — turning complex concepts into practical everyday habits, delivers Lunch & Learn sessions inside Allianz PNB Life’s offices to spark conversations on healthy eating and the circular economy, and fosters a culture of health-conscious living across both settings — reaching beyond the gym and the boardroom into how people actually live.
