Two sessions for Metro employees of Food Safety 101 on Fish were on June 25 and July 4-5, on Bakery were on July 11-12 and July 23-23, while Fruits and Vegetables were on July 17-18 and July 25-26 which were all held in Ho Chi Minh.
HEALTHY (Training Professionals to Improve Community Health) is a Public-Private Partnership project jointly implemented by Metro Cash & Carry and ASSIST which aims to uplift the supply chain in Vietnam’s retails industry.
The trainings were organized to build up and improve the food safety knowledge of Metro employees on products like fish, bakery, fruits and vegetables. The sessions were supervised by Dominik Goerts from METRO, Nguyen Thanh Tu from ASSIST and two trainers, Tu Viet Phu and Nguyen Tien Cong.
