ASSIST organizes events for SAVE project

ASSIST and PUMA launched the SAVE project in Cambodia on July 22, 2013 while Management Training sessions on Energy and GHG were held on July 19, 2013 and sessions on Water/Waste Expert on July 22-23, 2013 in Indonesia.

 

Sustainable Action and Vision for a better Environment (SAVE) is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project co- financed by DEG and PUMA which aims to create more environmentally friendly footwear apparel and accessory supply chain production sites in developing countries of Asia.

 

The launch served as an important introduction of the project to the participants who were graced by Adam Brennan and Edel Anit from PUMA and Aru David and Outi Annala from ASSIST. The two management trainings were facilitated by Kama Neson Ganeson and held in the training room of Pou Chen factory, aPUMA Footwear supplier. Several key members of the General Affairs Group of POU CHEN and secondary supplier DIAMOND attended the 2 day courses.
