Job Background

A specialized unit of ASSIST Development Solutions, ASSIST Creative Lab, caters to the unique and varied communication, visibility and knowledge management needs of actors and interventions in the development sector. Driven by passion for sustainable development, our team thrives in communicating complex and challenging issues in considered and creative ways, connecting policy makers, stakeholders and communities. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, passionate and experienced digital marketing specialist focused on the PPC (Pay Per Click) strand. The role would entail running inorganic / paid digital campaigns for ASSIST and its stakeholders including UN agencies, international NGOs and sustianable brands we serve. The role will report into a Category Manager who heads our digital marketing practice and work closely with peers that specialise in other strands of digital marketing including PPC, Content Marketing & Email marketing among others.


  • Leverage Google Ads and Bing platforms to drive relevant traffic to the target websites;
  • Create, manage and implement the clients’ digital marketing campaigns;
  • Lead set-up and strategy of client campaigns including targeting, ad creative, testing, and competitor strategies proactively seeking out innovative ideas and solutions;
  • Perform ongoing performance audits of all campaigns, and optimization based on ROI or other performance metric;
  • Analyze client websites and business situations through drawing on tools and resources;
  • Accurately forecast optimal monthly spend and performance KPIs with high accuracy;
  • Conduct opportunity audits of new potential clients, provide comprehensive recommendations, growth potential, strategy and forecasting;
  • Manage the entire paid search activities across the board to ensure systems and processes are being followed by the team while constantly improving efficiency and accuracy;
  • Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies;
  • Audit reporting with insights from campaign data to identify relevant trends and provide well developed proactive recommendations


  • At least four years of hands-on experience in a Paid Search role developing, executing and optimizing large-scale paid search campaigns (primarily Google and Bing);
  • Excellent understanding and hands-on experience on Google Adwords and other 3rd party inorganic tools such as SEM Rush, Similarweb, and Moz;
  • Proven track record results via paid search campaigns, at scale, to meet aggressive business growth goals;
  • Experience working with Global clients/teams;
  • Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere;
  • Exceptional communication skills – spoken, written, or visual – for internal teams and external client executives;
  • Must adapt well to change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed;
  • Must be Google Certified Performance marketing experience preferred
