We are Hiring: Development Partnerships and Projects Manager

Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST) is in need of a Development Partnerships and Projects Manager.

Job Description

We are looking for highly-energetic, skilled and experienced candidates to join us in performing the following functions:

  • Identify and seek opportunities for collaboration with like-minded organizations and individuals in alignment to ASSIST's focal areas 
  • Establish and develop strategic relationships with corporate entities, multilateral agencies, donors and other developmental organizations with the over-arching goal of social impact through fundraising and strong network
  • Research trends and come up with strategies for potential partnerships to address social and sustainability challenges in the  developmental world
  • Implement and manage proposed and won projects and act as client solutions manager for items of escalation and feedback
  • Work closely with the ground and acquisitions team in delivering outstanding results for all stakeholders 
  • Join regional events and conferences to keep up with the trends and network with partners / experts

Minimum Requirements / Expectations

  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Relationship Building and Network Management 
  • Experience working with international agencies such as ADB, GIZ, UNICEF, USAID,  etc is an advantage
  • Background in sustainable development preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder preferably in the fields of Social Sciences, Development Studies or similar streams
  • Extreme attention to detail with superior problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a particular flair for creating compelling narratives and persuasive content
  • Possesses a consistently positive outlook with the ability to work gracefully under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet high stakes deadlines
  • Robust project management skills, including the ability to marshal resources and information from diverse staff spanning several departments, professional backgrounds, and geographies
  • Extremely responsible, self-initiating, and focused
  • Strong working knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Skill at “connecting the dots” when it comes to partner needs and goals with a proven relationship-management skills in a Partnerships environment, resulting in tangible uplifts in revenue.
