Promoting Access to Solar Energy Solutions
for Small Buildings in the Philippines

Project Description

accessRE

Given the energy crisis and its impact among small and medium buildings across the Philippines, a public-private partnership (PPP) project called accessRE has been established among DEG, SolarNRG, and Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST).

accessRE – Promoting Access to Solar Energy Solutions for Small Buildings in the Philippines aims to tackle the energy needs of the country through solar adoption by targeting the untapped segment of small and medium buildings.

The project also seeks to achieve long-term sustainability by building local capacity and providing education and employment opportunities for solar technicians and consultants through trainings and job placement sessions.
